ST DAVID’S LEADS THE WAY IN LINGERIE AS BACI CHOOSES WALES FOR UK LAUNCH

Baci Lingerie has an ‘affordable luxury’ concept based on offering a wide range of quality lingerie at low prices with its collection developed by a collaboration of design teams from Italy, Paris, Hong Kong and Miami.The new store will officially launch Baci Lingerie’s UK expansion and be located in Cathedral Walk within St David’s, near to The Perfume Shop and Pia Jewellery.

St David’s is now home to a fantastic range of lingerie retailers including Theo Paphitis’ Boux Avenue which opened one of its first UK stores within the shopping centre, as well as Calvin Klein Underwear and La Senza.

Steven Madeley, centre director for St David’s which is jointly owned by Land Securities and Capital Shopping Centres, said: “Baci Lingerie is taking the international lingerie market by storm and it is a great coup that it has chosen St David’s for its UK debut store. St David’s has been firmly established as a fashion destination in the Welsh capital city and the introduction of more specialist retailers broadens our offering for our shoppers in Wales and beyond.

“The offering high street retailers and designer brands as well as the range of stores has created a unique mix at St David’s. Our success to date has also meant that we are a strong attraction for new retailers such as Baci Lingerie who are confident in launching their first Welsh and UK stores within St David’s.”

Baci Lingerie announced in February that it was to open in the UK and had partnered with distribution partner ABS to establish Baci Lingerie UK.

Symon Reeves, managing director of Baci Lingerie, said: “We are delighted to be opening the first Baci Mono Brand store at St David’s. The scheme is performing very well which was a key consideration for us. We believe our outstanding price point, coupled with a stunning location will provide us with the ideal platform to launch our exciting brand to the consumers of Cardiff and the UK.”
