Getting here by car
Whether driving from West Wales, the valleys or from the east (Bristol, Reading, Swindon) the simplest route from the M4 motorway is to exit at Junction 32 signposted Cardiff North. Join the A470 and follow the vehicle messaging signs on the dual carriageway to Cardiff and city centre and they will bring you right to our door. St David’s has its own safe and secure 2500 car park which is accessed from Churchill Way/Bute Terrace. You'll be able to park safely and conveniently in no time.

Park and Ride is so simple to use - you just park your car at a convenient location on the outskirts of the city centre and get a bus which brings you right into the heart of the city. Getting here by train
St David’s is a short 10 minute stroll from Cardiff Central Rail Station. The station is serviced by First Great Western, Arriva Trains Wales and Wales and West operators. It is easy to get to us from anywhere in the UK. Cycle here
Cycling can be one of the quickest and easiest ways to get around Cardiff. The city's easy gradients and large green parks make it ideal for exploring by bike. The historic Taff Trail cycle path runs North to South along the banks of the river Taff, linking Castell Coch, the city centre, Cardiff Castle, the National Museum of Wales and Cardiff Bay.
