My Halloween Haul

We love Halloween in our house, so much so that we actually put our decorations up in the first week of October! We have built an impressive collection of decorations and costumes over several years, so our house always looks very spooky.
I was challenged by St David’s to hunt for the best goodies to have a frighteningly fun Halloween. We were so excited and love a good challenge, so here’s how we did.
Our first stop was Poundworld. There's loads on offer in this shop, from costumes to decorations you'll be spoilt for choice. John Lewis has a gorgeous selection of Halloween treats situated on the ground floor. We spent £16.50 in-store, and for this price we managed to bag a stylist 'BOO' sign that lights up, a furry cat hair band and a gorgeously sparkly sequinned bat decoration!
Next up was H&M. They have a great selection of Halloween inspired clothing, web skirts and bat print joggers are just a few things to choose from. We chose a really funky skeleton inspired dress for Molly which is currently on offer for £6.99 (normally £9.99), a cute little Halloween necklace and glow in the dark body tattoos, both £1.99.
Our next stop was Head, and we managed to bag the Scooby Doo movie for £2! We couldn't complete Halloween without M&S; their food selection is always quirky and goes down a treat with kids, so we headed there and found some awesome treats! For £17.00 we managed to get two large bags of savoury snacks, eight bags of various sweet treats such as gummy witch hats and chocolate pumpkins (a selection of sweets are on a 3 for 2 offer) as well as our favourite purchase of the day, a hardback copy of Funnybones for £6.00!
The final shop we went to was Tiger. This place is great, full of interesting and unusual bits and bobs and loads of crafts too! The Halloween selection is unusual and funky, and George and Molly spotted cuddly Halloween teddy monsters for £2 each! We also managed to bag some Halloween goodie bags, creepy syringes, a foam brain, a bone headband for George, skeleton straws, lots of foam stickers, a spooky flash-light projector, mini pumpkins and a ghoulish green hair-band for £18!
So, in total we spent just under £65, and for that we have food, costumes, decorations and entertainment sorted.
All that's left for me to say is, have an awesome Halloween!
