With World Fairtrade Day on May 9th we wanted to showcase which fashion brands do things a little bit differently, either in their commitment to their workers, the use of Fairtrade cotton or dedication to the correct disposal of clothing. Sustainable fashion is a priority!
H&M’s Conscious line keeps going from strength to strength, offering trend-led pieces made from organic cotton for women, men and kids. In addition to striving to operate more ethically, H&M works to reduce carbon emissions and encourages consumers to recycle and donate clothing, rather than sending them to landfill.
Marks and Spencer have a brilliant range of basics in vibrant colours made from certified Fairtrade cotton.
Other high street retailers, such as Monsoon and Debenhams, stock clothing made with Fairtrade or Organic cotton, so you can still enjoy your favourite styles and shop ethically.
