Trans-seasonal dressing can be tough so we’ve put together our top tips for making you look as good as you feel this spring.
DO – Try layering. Whatever the weather if you layer up you’ll be prepared; pair a simple strappy top with a cardigan and denim jacket to keep you stylish and comfortable. Top the look off with a light colourful scarf for a look that’s versatile and easy to wear.
DON’T – forget to accessorize. Pair a statement necklace with a simple top or invest in that watch you’ve been eyeing up for a while.
DO – invest in some spring essentials like maxi skirts and cropped jeans.
DON’T – bring out the shorts too early! You’ll appreciate them so much more if you wait until the weather is warmer.
DO – embrace colour. From elegant florals to bright bold prints spring is the perfect time to brighten up your wardrobe!
DON’T – be afraid to try something new. Experiment with pairing different patterns and prints or invest in that midi skirt you’ve always wanted to try, fashion is all about having the confidence to express yourself with whatever you fancy.
DO – swap your fur lined parka for a lighter trench coat. You’ll want to keep cool as the weather heats up and a stylish trench coat is the perfect spring addition to your wardrobe.
DON’T – forget to swap your boots for stylish spring footwear. Try some open toed heels or comfortable dolly shoes for a smart yet sophisticated look.
DO – Bring out the sunnies!
DON’T – be afraid to show some skin. Ditch the tights and go bare legged with your dresses and skirts, alternatively, if the weather is cooler, try tops with mesh and silk panels to keep covered up.
