Do you know someone who deserves the most magical Christmas this year?
We’ve partnered with WalesOnline to give five families or people across South Wales a Christmas like no other. Each winner will receive a huge £1,200 worth of wonderful gifts, treats and food to make their festive season extra special.
We need your help to find our winners!
We’re calling on you to nominate someone who deserves a little extra sparkle this Christmas – whether they’ve had an especially tough year due to illness or financial hardship, have done incredible work in the community, or have devoted their time to helping others. All nominations are welcome!
HOW TO MAKE A NOMINATION
To nominate your chosen person, family or organisation, email stdavids@umpf.co.uk and tell us who you want to nominate and why (please include a minimum of 100 words). Please ensure they are happy to be nominated beforehand.
Please also include your name, address, email address and contact number.
The final five winners will be selected by a judging panel from St David’s Cardiff and WalesOnline. The winners will be asked to share their dream Christmas wishlist – whether it’s sought-after gifts or festive foodie treats, our team of Christmas elves will be on hand to collect the bundle of prizes from St David’s, ready to unwrap for the big day!
Terms and conditions
1. Eligibility: Nominees must be aged 18+ and residents of South Wales
2. Permission to enter: Entrants must obtain permission from the nominee before submitting a nomination.
3. Publicity: Winners must agree to take part in post-award publicity, which may include photography and features across print, digital and social channels associated with WalesOnline and St David’s Cardiff.
4. Selection: Winning nominees will be chosen by a judging panel from St David’s Cardiff in partnership with WalesOnline.
5. Entry limits: Multiple nominations are allowed. Entries that are incomplete or do not meet the eligibility criteria may be disqualified.
6. Notification: Winning entrants will be contacted by St David’s Cardiff via email on Monday 15th December and will have 48 hours to claim their prize. If the prize is not claimed within this period, the judges reserve the right to select an alternative winner. The original entrant/nominee will have no further claim to the prize.
7. Final decision: The Judges’ decision is final.
8. Entry dates: Entries open on Friday 5th December 2025 and close at 23:59 on Sunday 14th December 2025.
9. Prize details: Five winners will receive a prize package worth up to £1,200 each. Winners will be asked to provide a wish list of gifts from brands and Christmas food within St David’s Cardiff. All items are subject to in-store availability.
10. Collection: Winners must be willing to travel to St David’s Cardiff to collect their prizes, unless alternative arrangements are agreed in advance.
11. No cash alternative: There is no cash or voucher alternative to the prize. If the selected items total less than £1,200, no cash top-up will be provided. St David’s Cardiff may, at its discretion, add extra items to ensure the prize reaches its full value.
12. Non-transferable: Prizes are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Statutory rights are not affected.
13. Changes: St David’s Cardiff reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition in the event of unforeseen circumstances or where it becomes necessary to do so.
14. Data handling: Personal data will be used solely for the administration of the competition and handled in accordance with St David’s Cardiff’s privacy policy.
