Throughout the festive season, we turned Cardiff’s favourite shopping destination into a sparkling Christmas playground, packed with fabulous gifting, festive feasting and seasonal cheer.
There was no need to wing it this year, from gift inspiration and winter beauty buys to delicious Christmas menus and festive films, St David’s had everything needed to make Christmas wishes come true.

FAB FESTIVE FUN

Over the festive period, St David’s was the go-to destination for easy Christmas shopping in Cardiff. With gifting inspiration for everyone on the nice list, visitors could tick off their presents in record time at their favourite stores.
Winter beauty took centre stage at St David’s over the festive season. Shoppers refreshed their makeup bags with winter beauty buys from Sephora, Space NK and newly opened Pure Seoul, bringing glow-worthy looks and trending beauty favourites to Christmas celebrations.
Guests also enjoyed a trip to the big screen at Cineworld, catching the season’s biggest releases after a day of shopping and celebrating.

Sleigh your Christmas shopping

Fashion fans were treated to winter wardrobe must-haves and seasonal styles from ZARA and MANGO, while playful gifting favourites like Kenji proved popular for fun, colourful Christmas presents.

We also loved seeing shoppers make use of our gift-wrapping service in aid of local charities City Hospice and SightLife Wales, helping spread festive kindness alongside Christmas cheer.

Christmas dining in Cardiff

The festive season brought plenty of reasons to eat, drink and make merry. St David’s restaurants served up some of the tastiest Christmas menus Cardiff has to offer, hosting celebrations in style.
From festive feasts at The Cosy Club to great-value set menus and seasonal cocktails at TGI Fridays and Frankie & Benny’s, there was something for every kind of gathering.
Guests also mixed things up at Banana Tree and Giggling Squid, or went all-out with glamorous group dining and seasonal dishes at The Ivy, complete with magical festive installations and family-friendly moments.
