Celebrate St David's Day with us!
Dydd Gŵyl Dewi hapus, Caerdydd!
When? Saturday 28th February - Sunday 1st March 11am-4pm
We’ve got some lush celebrations planned at the centre for St David’s Day this year. On Saturday, we’ll once again be visited by Dexter the Dragon, a very friendly and well-behaved local Welsh hero.
On Sunday, brought to St Davids in collaboration with FOR Cardiff and Menter Caerdydd, we’ve got everything from choir performances and Welsh micro-lessons for parents to a stepping performance (similar to clog dancing for the newbies out there), arts and crafts and face painting.
Here's what to expect:
Saturday
- Dexter the Dragon
Sunday
- Welsh lessons for parents (12.30pm, 2.30pm)
- Storytime (11.30am, 1.30pm)
- Choir performances (12pm, 1.30pm, 3pm, 4pm)
- Stepping performance (12.45pm)
- Arts & crafts / face painting (11am-4pm)
There’s really no better place to celebrate St David’s Day - after all, the clue’s in our name!
Please note, Welsh lessons, story time and family activities will be located in the area by Guest Services on the Upper Mall. Choir and stepping performances take place between Sephora and River Island on the Upper Mall.
