As we continue to grow, we’re seeking an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering an exceptional retail experience.

Role Overview

The Assistant Store Manager plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the store, leading the team in the absence of the Store Manager, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service, visual presentation, and operational efficiency. This role is ideal for someone passionate about men’s fashion who is ready to take the next step in their retail management career.

Key Responsibilities

Team Support & Leadership

• Assist the Store Manager in supervising, motivating, and developing the store team.
• Lead by example, promoting a positive and professional team culture.
• Support training initiatives and ensure all staff deliver exceptional service.
• Step into the Store Manager role when required.

Customer Experience

• Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure every guest feels valued and confident in their shopping experience.
• Assist in resolving customer issues effectively and in line with company standards.
• Maintain strong product knowledge to provide styling advice and recommendations.

Sales & Performance

• Contribute to achieving and exceeding store sales targets and KPIs.
• Monitor daily sales performance and identify opportunities to drive growth.
• Motivate the team to maximise sales through exceptional service and product knowledge.

Store Operations

• Support all operational aspects of the store, including opening/closing, cash handling, and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised store environment.

Visual Merchandising

• Assist with merchandising and window displays to reflect seasonal trends and brand standards.
• Ensure the store’s appearance aligns with Atrium Menswear’s premium aesthetic.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience in retail management role (menswear or fashion retail preferred).
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to motivate a team and deliver results.
• Excellent understanding of customer service principles and retail operations.
• Passion for men’s fashion and styling.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and key retail trading periods.
